Its hectic right now, with long hours at work, side business taking a good part of my life and some other personal projects, I’m finding it hard to come and post transactions like I did, but I promise I’m doing my best and will try harder!

A couple of weeks back, I was looking at a beaten stock that would provide a better upside potential with the turnaround that has begun on the markets. Banks are paying back TARP, housing starts are rising and jobs are slowly pushing back into the system. Why or how I came across (ABK) is an honest mystery. But I looked at the company and then compared its outlook potential with similar companies and jumped into the stock.

My entry was low, $0.66/share was the average price for each share with my total lot sitting at 4700 shares. I did not watch the stock too much as my outlook was long term, but with recent positive news, the stock was up over 100% alone today and its significantly higher from purchase date. At time of posting, this stock was closed after hours at $2.47/share.

What is my potential profit, easily over $8500 in just less than one month. I’m beyond myself, this was not something I expected this soon but cannot complain.

Will the stock go higher? Shorts are trying to cover, and more people are looking at the stock as a long position. Volume was 415M shares compared to an average with is normally 5% of that number. I would like to see the stock move higher but will embrace a pull back on profit taking. Personally, I am not going to sell, my stop loss is set at $1.40 which would ensure atleast me walking away with 100% gains.

Watch (ABK), this could be a winner for more people. Will there be more 100% gain days? I can probably be safe on betting not, but upward momentum will still be a trend for this horse.
