This is a great lecture from TED that I had sent to me the other day. It’s not geared towards the stock market, or real estate or money for that matter if your looking for a literal connection. But if you take the time to listen and adapt the message into your life, you might feel “wealth”.

Regardless of how much money you make, no matter what you do in life, there is always a hater that is going to try to ruffle your feathers. Its more often than not that I get questioned about my incomes and subsequent reasoning as to how I spend my money or shall I say, prefer to SAVE my money and try to make MORE money.

Some examples about me, I will prefer to stay at a moderate priced hotel rather than some posh diamond rated place, I will drive one car rather than do like my friends and pick up a new model BMW or higher brand for that matter. I enjoy to cook at home instead of paying for something that I can make on my own for less and ensure is fresh and healthy. Am I cheap? No, I’m financially responsible. Is this an excuse? No. I have gone to clubs and spent more than I should, been on trips all over the world and have an annoying habit of wearing $250 jeans. I just find my money better spent in other ways on things that I can enjoy for a longer time.

I don’t care how much income I make at work, from the stock markets, from my side businesses or rental properties. If I have another money making opportunity, I will take it and would expect YOU the reader to do the same. If a post on my site makes people believe that I am getting a certain amount of money, that is fine, but I’m not going to let a chance to get some additional funds get away as long as I agree with the topic.

Being of a certain income group does not equate to financial carelessness. I have my hand in every pot I see and gladly take any money making opportunity that comes along. I can make a few thousand on a stock but taxes eat a lot my of short term gains away.

Beyond that, my aim has always been to accumulate money and push it into real estate which has been the case for me in the Miami and Toronto markets. That has been noted in the past.

If things on this site don’t agree with the ideology of some, I’m not concerned. I see the cynical looks of some when I with certain groups in Chicago and Toronto and get the “look” when discussing my finances or projects. It is sad when these people feel like a person under the age of 30 cannot make a living better than theirs. Its also sad that people are more busy trying to dissect after the fact when I generally lay my plans and intentions on the table and offer people in the respective industry an entry at the bottom.

I never grew up with a silver spoon, have been working since the age of 14 and will continue to use these people that want to whine as the fuel to press onto the next level and hope those in similar shoes do the same. Don’t let the negativity of those that stalled on their plans hinder yours – its what they want to see.

Anyways, this is my 1am rant…keep pressing on your ideas, be it for the stock market, the property game, some online tactic, its all part of your master-plan. Some will make you a lot of money, others will pay less, it all ADDS UP at the end and that is what ultimately matters!
