Its never too late to learn something new or brush up on some old knowledge..

For me, when I was doing my MBA in England, I had the chance to head out to MIT to take a few courses at the Sloan School of Management. This was a great opportunity for some, but since I was already at one of the top schools in the world, I felt there was no need. Maybe my loss.

However, a few weeks back, I was told by one of my former classmates that MIT is offering many of its business and general university level courses for free. All the materials (lectures, notes, quizzes with solutions, etc) are available for each course and this can really help you brush up or learn something new.

This freebie can save you thousands of dollars in course fees (if you are not looking to get a degree ofcourse) and bring a lifetime of knowledge. I know some people take random classes at Phoenix University or DeVry, both in my opinion are a waste of money when you are comparing it to a place like MIT.

Hope you all take a look at this one.

For people looking at investing, there are some really good economics courses that can start you off on the right path that isnt filled with “get rich quick” gimmicks.

Happy Investing, and learning!
