I’m not sure where to start, if you follow my Twitter account, you probably are aware of my ISSUE with DirectTV. Our private problem was not resolved since I got their service back in November and decided to air my problems in public. What was the result? They called me.

Because DirectTV cannot provide me service adequate service as stated within the contract that requires me to pay monthly, I was unable to utilize my Bloomberg and CNBC shows which I’m normally tuned into around 5:30am while at the gym. Yes, the early bird gets the worm, and if you want to make money, you need to get up and scan the news feeds BEFORE everyone else begins to crawl out of bed. Build your strategy and make moves!

Okay, I went on a tangent. I got into Vonage shares this week (Tuesday) for a quick in and out. In the morning, before the steam picked up on the decent news. I got 1000 shares at $3.99 and made an exit mid-day around $4.58. The stock did move higher before pulling back, but I did not see that potential.

Total profit on Vonage – $590

I did not try to get into anything this week, yet anyways. Mainly due to the fact that its been a busy time. I’m currently trying to push into finding a property or two in Michigan and to go through so many units with just images is hard. Anyone that has tried to buy out of state, or foreign property can understand. This coupled with medical related work, trying to sort through documents to launch a fully recognized charity is taking up considerable time.

Although there are quite a few things going on, I’m not complaining. I’ve said it before, you need to work hard (be it career, investing, sports) in order to succeed.

Hope you all found an market play this week. Right now, I’m looking at the cheaper housing stocks, nothing in specific has stuck out. Comstock (CHCI) is always good with its up and downs. Lets see how things go.
