TradeKing 2011 Promotion!

Its back! My favorite stock trading company has come up with another item for those that have an iPhone. TradeKing launches new iPhone app which enables account holders even more access to how their money is working for them.

Stock markets are open virtually 24hrs a day when you consider all the different time zones. Not every one is carrying around their laptop with internet at all times. With so much news and information causing flucuations on stock prices, you need to be able to quickly access the hard earned money you have trusted your brokerage with. By having this app, you can log on before the next rally fizzles, or worse, before a stock suddenly tanks!

Now, for those that do not have an iPhone, TradeKing is still an amazing company to invest with. At a quick glance, TradeKing features powerful online equity, options and fixed-income trading tools Low flat fees – $4.95 per trade plus $.65 per options contract Top Rated Broker by SmartMoney – 4 years running (2006-2009) 4-Star Rated Broker by Barron’s – 12th Annual Survey of Best Browser-Based Online Brokers.

I can’t find anything better.

To help anyone looking for an online broker, I’ve found a TradeKing promotion code to add some free money into your new account!

and get $50 added! Full details on the TradeKing promotion can be found on their site.

Happy Investing!

Neil Pasricha: The 3 A’s of awesome

This is a great lecture from TED that I had sent to me the other day. It’s not geared towards the stock market, or real estate or money for that matter if your looking for a literal connection. But if you take the time to listen and adapt the message into your life, you might feel “wealth”.

Dividend Stocks for 2011

When looking for long term plays, many people like to have solid, steady stocks that will continue to pay a nice return on their investment. This for older investors, can supplement retirement income, or for younger people, be a new revenue stream. Either way, dividend paying stocks are an excellent addition to a portfolio. In my long plays, I have many that pay dividend, and others that did at one time, which I’m holding (bank stocks) in anticipation of dividend reinstatement.
