This site I want to talk about today was actually one that I found purely by accident. Its called UpDown.

The way this site works is that you register for free and are given virtual money to trade on a full stock trading platform. There is the ability to interact with others on the site and even compete in groups. Along the way, you can really learn a few tricks (like how to practice applying the candlestick method, trade on volume, etc) and fine tune your skills in order to really maximize your profits in the real world.

For those that don’t have the ability to trade with real money (age, financial situation, etc), this is perfect to play and experience what an investor does. Buying and selling stocks is intimidating to many and from personal experience, its sites like this that make the ability to profit in real life that much easier.

Oh and I forgot to mention, on this site, you do have the chance to win some cash. Not bad! Play with virtual money, make some trades and then get a chance to win money.
