Valentines Day Tips:
filed in Stretching your dollar on Feb.07, 2009
Its one week until Valentines day. Many people that I know usually wait until the morning of to drive to the nearest gas station to get some wrinkled flowers at inflated prices to show their love towards their spouse, GF, etc.
Well with a few days to spare, I have compiled a list of deals and options that are available that can save you money, save you time, and prevent any hassle this time around. Show somebody how much you love and appreciate them without going broke! Here are some suggestions:

There you go guys, flowers and chocolates. What every lady in your life will appreciate and ofcourse, you know what GOOD chocolates do to the brain. They release endorphin which in turn enhances the release of sex hormones. In plain English, you can set the mood right if you plan ahead and be greatly rewarded!
Don’t rush last minute only to waste money. Check out the above links for some ways to save some money and time by planning ahead and using these coupons I found.
Oh and for the single people out there looking for love, give online dating a try, you might even find a date to spend Valentine’s with…its always worth a shot and Lavalife has a free sign-up policy to browse listings:Join Lavalife FREE!
Enjoy these discounts and share them with anyone else you may know!

I wish you posted this years back, I have been buying flowers online for birthday, mothers day, and Valentine’s Day and never occurred to me to try the cc website. From now on I know I will save a little money from each transaction.

Lol… is that what you go to med school for? Endorphin… new info to me.
I think I’ll just stay on my A-game and stick to Mr. Big. It’s $1.15 at convenience stores, but I’ll go to the dollar store and get 2 for a $1. Now that’s saving money.

haha…you never know when another time might come to get flowers, like others said, these deals are also applicable at times for B-days and other reasons…
@Rajbir,
those chocolates dont have the same chemical reaction in the body. From what I understood, the reaction effect from a cheap chocolate is opposite from that of a more expensive, rich chocolate. But that is what I read, you should try it out this Valentine’s Day!
